9th and 10th Graders Prepare LWR Care Kits

During Lent 2021, our 9th and 10th graders met with their adult mentors in one-on-one online meetings to discuss their faith each week. Some mentors used a curriculum provided by Lutheran World Relief (LWR).

Melanie Ronneberg, the adult mentor for 9th grader Gabriel Ishaq, said, “I enjoyed reviewing the Lutheran World Relief stories during lent, and were inspired to get a group of friends together to make personal care kits. Gabby did a great job planning, coordinating and communicating with six families to prepare and deliver 40 personal care kits to the LWR organization.”
